HOPE and HEALING for the Holidays
Facing the holidays can be difficult when you are missing a loved one.
Below are a few actions to consider if you are coping with
grief during the holidays.
Let go of the “oughts” and the “shoulds.”
1) BE REALISTIC:
It will hurt and that’s okay.
2) PLAN AHEAD:
Decide what is really important
and prioritize everything.
3) LISTEN TO YOURSELF:
Ask for help when you need it.
4) TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF:
Exercise, eat right and get plenty of rest.
5) CREATE NEW TRADITIONS:
Buy a gift for your loved one who
would not otherwise have a gift.
When you share love, it grows.
The Gift of Healing Tears:
Grief is not a sign of weakness nor a lack of faith.
It is the price we pay for love.
Thinking of you and praying for you during the holidays.
